As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Manager to lead our Equipment Department. This senior management position is critical to ensuring the efficient management, maintenance, and utilization of our extensive fleet of construction equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Procurement and Allocation:

    • Lead the procurement of construction equipment and spare parts, ensuring all acquisitions align with project requirements and budget constraints.
    • Oversee the allocation and deployment of equipment across multiple project sites, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Spare Parts Management:

    • Manage the purchasing, delivery, and issuance of spare parts, ensuring the availability of critical components to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain an optimal inventory of spare parts, leveraging the company's ERP system for accurate tracking.
  • Maintenance Oversight:

    • Work closely with the Maintenance and Logistics Supervisor to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
    • Monitor maintenance activities and ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition, adhering to safety and operational standards.
  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all equipment and spare parts using the company's ERP system.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and ensure efficient asset management.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate detailed reports on equipment usage, maintenance costs, and spare parts inventory for senior management.
    • Analyze data to inform strategic decisions regarding equipment management, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Leadership and Team Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled professionals within the Equipment Department, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the department and with other key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in equipment management within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale equipment fleets and rental operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction equipment, including operation, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems for equipment and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
